Iláya is an Ilonggo word which means near the mountains or countryside. So, this spa is a great way to escape from the busy life of the city and to conjoin with the nature. Inspired by its founders’ native Ilonggo roots, the spa truly embodies Ilonggo culture, and traditions.

Iláya Retreat Spa is the brainchild of Anecito "Atho" V. Dela Cruz, Jr., an expert advisor and renowned consultant in the spa and wellness arena in the Philippines, supporting companies that promote Filipino inspired therapy called, "Hilot". Within the spa and wellness industry, Atho holds an impressive track record in establishing resort SPA’s in different parts of the country. He is also one of the pioneering member of the SPA Association of the Philippines established in 2008. His deep industry experience established some famous SPA’s such as Amanpulo Luxury Resort and Spa in Palawan, Amorita Resort Bohol in Panlao Island Bohol, Amuma Spa Maribago Bluewater Resort in Lapu-Lapu City Cebu, Dos Palmas Island Resort & Spa in Puerto Princesa, Palawan, Savoy Hotel and Belmont Hotel in Boracay island. Iláya Retreat Spa offers a distinctly Ilonggo-branded spa menu featuring treatments like “Rutay,” an Ilonggo version of a deep tissue massage that uses slow strokes and deep finger pressure to relieve tension from the deepest layers of your muscles, “Lughud” the Ilonggo version of Hot Stone Massage, and “Hilot sa Iláya” Traditional Signature massage, a 2-hour authentic Filipino Spa experience of rituals that utilizes native healing techniques and nature's wisdom.

Everything that Iláya Retreat Spa offers is deeply rooted in local traditions, from spa treatments, accommodations, materials used, to the drinks offered to guests after each therapy. They also introduce the SUG-ILIG - energy flow meditative movement morning exercise. SUG from Ilonggo word “kusug” which means energy and “ILIG” means flow. It is a slow movement exercise that synchronizes with deep breathing, thus in increases blood flow and releases dense energy and stuck energy your magnetic field, which can give you the right energy to start the whole day. For reservations received less than seven (7) days prior to arrival date, confirmation will only be made upon receipt of the final name list and full payment.

No-shows or any cancellation made after confirmation (guaranteed booking) and receipt of full-payment will be subject to penalty charge equivalent to the full amount.

Price Change. The Hotel reserves the right to adjust the rates herein committed without notice in the event of revision in government tax, and the like or in case of absolute necessity due to an unforeseen circumstance which requires such in order to protect its best interest.
Payment. As a matter of policy, the Hotel strictly require pre-payment of the FULL AMOUNT of the booking before the guest may be allowed to check-in. In case payment will be in foreign currency, the prevailing conversion rate of the Hotel will be applied. Payments may be made at any Bank of the Philippine Island branch. Cancellation of Contract. Damires Hills Tierra Verde reserves the right to cancel this contract in cases of, but not limited the following:

Client commits a breach in any of the terms & conditions; purports to assign the burden or benefit of this Agreement without the written consent of the Hotel.

Force Majeure. The Hotel shall not be responsible to the company or its guests for its failure to abide of this agreement where such failure is due to fortuitous event, labor dispute or circumstances beyond its control.
Termination. The Hotel shall have the right to terminate/rescind this agreement for any branch of contract or violation of any terms thereof. All rates are strictly confidential; divulging of rates to other companies shall mean automatic termination of this agreement.
